When I image from home, i plug it into an extension cord, and I do have a battery that will run it all for a couple hours in the field. It wasn't cheap, but I power my focuser, PC, camera, and mount, and 2 dew heaters with it and only have 1 cable hanging down. Separate note- I do have a Pegasus power box, one of the small ones, they call it the pocket or the micro or something. You just need to figure out your power draw, and then decide how long you'd like it to last and then go from there. On the battery, more power/amp hours = more money. Some batteries have the 2.5mm 12v output jacks on them, so you wouldn't need the adapter/plug. For example, if your equipment pulls 5 amps, and you get a 10 amp hour battery, you could run your equipment for 2 hours (in reality it would actually be less, more like an hour and a half probably).

You'll need to figure out how many amps your equipment will be pulling and how many amp hours the battery is rated for. So the short answer is yeah, you can get a battery to run the camera cooler and PC.
